Kim Wood Coaching provides leadership and management coaching and consulting to small businesses and not for profit organisations.  Kim’s recent work has included strategic planning and business development, management coaching and stakeholder consultation  on behalf of private and public organisations.  Recent clients include Latrobe Community Health Service, Yarram & District Health Service, Department of Planning & Community Development and Latrobe City Council.

From 2001 to early 2008, Kim was CEO of a Division of General Practice – a government funded not for profit organisation providing education and support programs to primary health practitioners.  She has a thorough understanding of governance and management, financial management, strategic and business planning, project development and management, continuous quality improvement and stakeholder relations.

Kim holds a Certificate of Professional Coaching, an Advanced Diploma of Business Management, has studied psychology, social welfare and business administration at tertiary level and is a member of the International Coach Federation.

Kim has been an advocate for change and innovation in the Gippsland region with a focus on building partnerships through collaborative ventures. These have included: Central West Gippsland Primary Care Partnership (Chair 2004-2006); Gippsland Regional Integrated Cancer Services Executive; Better Health Care in Gippsland Evaluation Committee; Care in Your Community Integrated Planning Committee; and Latrobe Regional Hospital Advisory and Population Health Committees. In 2006 Kim was invited to speak at the National Primary Mental Health Symposium on ‘Building Partnerships in Youth Mental Health’. In 2007, she successfully led a consortium of eight health and welfare organisations to obtain over $1 million in funding for youth mental health services in Central West Gippsland through headspace, the National Youth Mental Health Foundation.
