My work falls into three main categories:
Coaching
Coaching helps you to use your own skills, knowledge and resources more effectively. It will also provide new perspectives and ideas. Working with a coach provides the framework and support to enable you to get crystal clear about where you are and where you want to be. In a typical coaching program you will:
- examine your current situation – the big picture and the details, your environment, your skills, knowledge and beliefs.
- ask the question: how are these factors helping or hindering you?
- get clear about where you want to be in the future, and what you can achieve short, medium and long term;
- design realistic and achievable strategies and actions to get there; and
- be supported to put those strategies and actions into place.
I believe coaching is one of the most effective strategies available to really move forward with your business and with your personal life.
Consulting
I am often available to take on short to medium term consulting projects. Recent projects have included: the management restructure of a local company; a feasibility study for the establishment of a childcare centre; strategic planning facilitation; and a health-related community education project.
Workshops and presentations
These workshops can be held in your own workplace or another venue by arrangement. Ideal group size is 6 – 16 people.
Team talk
Effective communication is an essential feature of high performing teams. This workshop will provide your team with the knowledge and skills to listen purposefully, to focus on what’s most important and to have conversations that get results.
Meeting manouevres
Too many meetings, too little to show for the time you invest? Take a planned, controlled and skillful approach to meetings – learn how in this workshop.
Time challenge
What would you do with an extra half hour each day? What about a full hour each day? One extra hour per day for a year is the equivalent of over NINE (40 hour) working weeks! Take the time challenge and find that time each day, AND plan to use it well!
Balancing act
Work vs. the rest of your life: do you live to work or work to live? Or does it seem that you just work and work? In ‘Balancing Act’ we will take an objective look at your work and other life roles, then apply simple strategies to get a better balance.
